Day 128: Pizza

I have been thinking about it quite a bit lately, and i've realized that coming up with an "organized" craft every day is getting costly.  So, i've been trying to work through some crafts that we've had in the house, and I've been trying to think outside of the Hobby Lobby/Jo-Ann's boxes... Today, I was making pizza for dinner, and I figured, what better way to get the kids involved than to let them make a design on the pizza!

Iris loves to slice olives with the Pampered Chef Egg Slicer, so that is always a great way to get her involved in making anything.  And both girls love peeling veggies, though Iris is a bit better at actually getting things peeled at all :-p  I pan fried a piece of bacon for a mouth, drained a can of pineapples, we peeled carrots and sliced olives.  (basically, these are the makings of our standard pizzas, well aside from the carrots, but to make a Pizza Face, we needed hair!)

And here is the end product.... if it tells you anything, there is only 1 piece of pizza left that will be eaten for lunch tomorrow :)  Oh and check out the carrot goatee lol
