Welcome friends, and soon to be friends! I have never blogged, and I have never been a crafter, in any sense of the word, but yet, here I am, crafting, 365! It started out as a way to get my kids, a 3 year old, 2 year old, and a 9 month old- ok, maybe not so much her- in the Christmas spirit. Well, after about three days, they couldn't wait for their next craft, they woke up each morning saying, "What craft is today???" I have missed 2-3 days in all of December.
After about two weeks, my husband came up with this brilliant idea. "Why don't you do a Stunt Book?" he asked one night. Obviously, my first response was, "A what?" Well, after he explained that it is a book, or in this case, blog, about doing something for a year, no matter what. Well, at first I thought he was crazy, a YEAR, EVERY day, NO MATTER WHAT??? ugh, that is too much of a commitment for me! But, then i thought about it more, and after the last 5 days, still managing to craft while my husband and I both battle the Bubonic Plague that he brought home, I decided that it may be doable. So here I am, December 27th, 2012, gearing up to start my "Stunt Book" on the first of the year and hoping that the z-pack that I was prescribed today will work before then!
I will need to get more disciplined about photographing our crafts, and now I am adding an extra thing to do every day too. I hope that I gain many friends this year that will keep me motivated to continue. 365 days is a long time to write to myself!! And, I am sure i will say this many times throughout the next year- ANY craft ideas for a 3 and 2 year old would be much appreciated!
